I, also, would greatly appreciate this!
I don't know what I'd do without MarcEdit, and am always glad to find
new ways of working with it.
It would also help with training staff.

Thanks,

Shirley Thomas

Yes -- I've don't a good deal of writing, but nothing I've made public
as of yet. My intention is still to pull it together so that it makes
some sense to more people than just me.

Hi all,

Did anything ever come of the below? I would love to have this type of
resource for MarcEdit

Hi folks,

Before I got too far down the rabbit hole, I want to check in on an idea
I've been starting to work on. Over the past two years, I've
occasionally done a few MarcEdit workshops, and one of the reoccurring
requests that I get from people - is a request to write a how to;
something that goes beyond the help file and YouTube videos providing
examples, instructions, tips and tricks.

Well, as I've been wrapping up a few hobby projects, I find myself
potentially with a little bit of time and I thought I might spend some
cycles working on something like this. However, I've written a book
before and while this won't be nearly as ambitious, I wanted to make
sure that there were actually people out there that might find something
like this useful.

Here's the idea...I'm thinking about creating an eBook that will cover
10-12 chapters. It will be produced as a PDF that I'll let anyone
download (and will make easier for me to upload to somewhere like lulu
so I can get a bound copy for my own shelf) and cover a number of topics
that come up on the list and through my email.
