Hi Stacy,
If you can’t extract just the newer records, you could add a field to your old file and merge it into the new file in order to flag records already done.
Also, it seems that DOAB records are extracted with newer records last, although I’ve never confirmed that theory.

Subject: OAI harvesting with date limit
I downloaded the records for the Directory of Open Access Books last December. I want to download the records added since then, but when I put a start date into the advanced settings, there is no change in the retrieval. I still get all of the books in the set.
What is the correct way to put in a limit that will retrieve only those records added since some specific date?
