I am fairly new to this list and hope that someone could help me with this.

I have a file of records with 956, and would like to add a new 856 field to each record with the bookid number from the 956 (e.g.:105993) added to the end of the $u in the new 856. The bookid numbers in this file have either 5 or 6 digits, all after the equal symbol = at the end of $u and before $z. Is there a way in MarcEdit to find the number in each 956 and add it to the end of the new 856?

Sample record:
=956 4\$3Bibliographic record display$uhttp://www.netLibrary.com/urlapi.asp?action=summary&v=1&bookid=105993$zAn electronic book accessible through the World Wide Web; click for information

Thank you!
