Hi MarcEdit experts,

I changed a setting from

Tools-->Preference-->File Associations-->

I type .mrc in the parentheses below

Associate (*.mrc ) file type with:

then choose "MarcBreaker"

-->Save type

After changing the setting, I notice that the "MARC Files (.mrc)" with purple icon turns into "MarcEdit MarcBreaker File (.mrc)" with yellow icon.

I right click the yellow icon file, go to "properties", the "type of file" shows "MarcEdit MarcBreaker File (.mrc)"

I am not sure that...

(1) What is the difference between "MarcEdit MarcBreaker File (.mrc) (yellow icon one)" different from "MARC Files (.mrc) (purple icon one)"?
(2) Normally, would the "yellow icon one" loaded successfully into Library Management system?
(3) How can I change the "yellow icon one" back to the "purple icon one" which is MARC Files (.mrc)?

Thanks a lot for your help.
