You can change control values using the Edit Subfield function. When
you change the field to a control field, the subfield textbox shifts
to accept position/length arguments (i.e., 24:4 -- for 24th byte,
evaluate 4 bytes). However, I'm assuming you are looking at the Cont,
in which case you can have 4 values for books or 3 values for
continuing resources. This is a little trickier, because unless the
dictionary value is always in a specific position, you'd have trouble
matching. At that point, I might consider a regular expression that
looked for the value.
