My apologies if this was discussed and I missed it. I'm using MarcEdit
to customize and correct ebook records we receive from our vendor.

The records are auto loaded into our Polaris system. I export the
records as a marc file, then open it in MarcEdit to work on. I've
noticed that when I open the file in MarcEdit, the diacritics are
missing and replaced with a ? They are present in the records that are
in Polaris. When I import the file back, I need to overlay the
existing records and the diacritics are now gone. I try to fix them
when I'm editing in MarcEdit but the files are large and I have
limited time to work on eBook records.

I recently edited a file of about 465 Spanish titles and saw the
issue. I'm using MarcEdit 7.3.5.
