Hi Terry and all the MarcEdit experts,
I am trying to use global edit or regular expression to convert all the
=650 \0$aFeature films.
=650 \0$aAction and adventure films.
=650 \0$aComedy films.
=650 \0$aInstructional films.
=650 \0$aEducational films.
=650 \0$aBiographical films.
Into
=655 \7$aFeature films.$2lcgft
=655 \7$aAction and adventure films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aComedy films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aInstructional films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aEducational films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aBiographical films. $2lcgft
Firstly, I use ˇ°Findˇ± with use regular expression
(=650.{4})(\$a.*)(.films), to find out how many 650 fields should be
changed.
Next, I try to use ˇ°Swap Field Utilityˇ± (please see the picture attached)
It changed all 650 \0 into 655 \7, but it is only half done. I wish to
have "$2lcgft" added at the end.
Like it shows below:
=655 \7$aFeature films.$2lcgft
=655 \7$aAction and adventure films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aComedy films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aInstructional films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aEducational films. $2lcgft
=655 \7$aBiographical films. $2lcgft
Or is there any other method to do it, please advise.
Any and all help is much appreciated!!
Regards,
Connie
