I just "comment out" the relevant lines in the marcrules.txt file.
This isn't a big deal for me to do, but when I've been trying to help
a couple of new users with MarcEdit, it's a bit of a PITA trying to
get them to find and then alter the marcrules so that they can use the
validator.
I wonder if Terry would be kind enough to fix this in the next update,
so that it would not require the rules to be tweaked for every user.
As far as I can tell, there is nothing improper about parenthetical
characters after the ISBN number in 020 fields.
