We catalogue in French a lot, and use the "DOS" char set e.g. <alt>130 for
e acute -- it seems to translate impeccably into UTF8. It works well with
MarcEdit 5.2 (don't have a Win machine capable of running anything after XP
SP2), but am now wondering in hindsight if we made a mistake?

Warm regards,
