Thanks, Terry. That worked. It was helpful you told me what to click, as I couldn't read any of it! I'm not sure why Arial Unicode isn't showing up as an option, I installed it yesterday and it is showing up in my Office applications.

The program is selecting the first font that your system is offering as a system font. It looks like I may need to hard code an alternative – because what is happening is the program is looking for the Arial Unicode font and when not finding it, is asking the operating system for an alternative system font. You can fix this easily by clicking on the preferences icon (the blue icon on the bottom right), selecting the third link on the preferences window, and picking the font you want to use.
I think I might also reset the default font from 9-10.

I just downloaded the new update and am getting a weird squashed box with lines that look like barcodes instead of text. I downloaded the Arial Unicode font but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas? I have Windows 7 enterprise edition. aks Amanda K.
