We are using a task that incorporates RDA Helper to help with cataloging a large backlog of LPs. I found that if I check "Add 347," the field will be added whether or not it applies to the format being edited - at least, until I figured this out and simply unchecked that box, I was getting fields telling the patron that we had optical LPs, which is obviously nonsense.
I would like to be able to use RDA Helper to assist with cataloging CDs (different but concurrent project). For these, I would want field 347. But I still don't want it in bib records for LPs.
Is there any way to make that field conditional? That is, add it if it is relevant to the format being cataloged but not otherwise? I haven't discovered any way to do this. The RDA Helper settings seem to be "off" or "on," for all projects. Or perhaps the application just doesn't distinguish one audio format from another?
