Hi everyone,
I'm wanting to swap data from the 050 $a$b fields to a 949 $h field -
but ONLY if a 949 already exists in the record. So I had *thought*
that if you check the option "Add to existing field" on the Swap Field
function, then it would only add the data when there is a 949 field,
but would ignore any records that do *not* have an existing 949 field.
However, I'm finding that in those cases where a 949 does *not* exist
in the record, the Swap Field function will still create one. Am I
mis-interpreting what this checkbox is supposed to do? If so, is
there a way to specify that the data only gets added to existing 949
fields and doesn't do anything to the records if they do not have an
existing 949?
thanks ahead for any insight...
heidi
