This error shows up when the server tells MarcEdit that the query being attempted isn't supported. If you want to know the actual bib-1 attribute being used (since I'm assuming you are selecting isbn from the drop down box in search) -- you can find it by looking up the bib-1 attributes. If you are actually using isbn= in the search -- then indeed, that won't work. If you are doing a raw search in z39.50, it needs to look more like: @attr 1=7 2727401515

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Z39.50 client isbn search fails

We can't explain this search error: "failed on server unsupported attribute
combination" with Marcedit on search and batch mode.

i.e. isbn=2727401515

Thanks,
