When pulling ISBN 9781467763158 from LC (LCCN 2014017423) using our cataloging software (ITS for Windows), there is a character at the end of the $e, before $c (the character appears to be an end of field character, hex 1E). When retrieving the same record using MarcEdit, the subfields following that character are lost (so instead of DLC$beng$erda$cDLC$dDLC, it just has DLC$beng$erda). Ideally, whatever is causing this 1E character to appear at the end of $erda in LC's records would be fixed so that the character did not appear (I did send a message about it to [log in to unmask] on Tue 12/16/2014 9:38 AM, but I don't know if they've had a chance to look into it). On the MarcEdit side of things, though, it would be better if data weren't lost when retreiving records via Z39.50.
Thank you,
