I've had to do this as well.
Here's a way.
Go to Tools->Extract Selected Records.
In the box for "Display Field:" use 856$u
Extend the Display field results column so that it is as wide as you
can make it.. In almost every case, a record with with multiple 856$u
fields will be obvious in the sort, because the lengths of the field
will extend way past the ones with single 856 fields.
You have to visually scan down the list to select the records with
multiple 856 fields.
This may not be the most elegant way to find the records with multiple
856 fields, but it does work.
I have to do this with a lot of the batches of OCLC's so-called
vendor-neutral records. I usually have to sort the 856 fields as
well, to get rid of links that have other libraries' proxy servers
embedded in them. I also need to get rid of the links that go to
ebook vendors other than the one we se for that book.
