Hello all –

I am wondering if there is a way to move specific records from one MarcEdit file to a new file. Essentially, I would like to find any record with specific beginning data in a tag (099 ##$aGN in this instance) and cut the whole record from the current file and paste it to a new file.

Is that possible? I did not see anything in the tasks lists which would extract and paste into a new file. Any other technique for achieving this would also be helpful.

Thanks for the help,
