Hello,

Perhaps some of you can give me some insight on an issue I'm having with
edits not taking place on the complete file.

I have a file of 6,579 records and I was swapping fields to move the OCLC
number from the 035 field to the 001 field. But the edit only took place on
the first 4,525 records. The 2,054 records to which the edit was not applied
now all lack both the 001 and the 035 with the OCLC number in it.

The numerous other edits I made were applied to all 6,579 records.

Any ideas out there as to why that may have happened or what I might be
doing wrong? This happened to me one other time about a month ago, but it
seemed to be a fluke.

Thank you

Cathy
