I'm not sure what might be causing this.  I don't work much with the MarcEdit in the preview mode any longer due to the paging -- and the only problem I'm aware of with the paging is due to files that have an incorrect file format (specifically, files that have non-consistent end of line characters).  I've been working on an update that will take this into account -- but that's the only problem that is like the one you describe that I've run into.
