Greetings,
I am aware of functions within MarcEdit that allow one to append or prepend data within a subfield, but is there a function to do the reverse? I need to pull out the last 8 digits of the item barcode number in a series of files. Is there a function anyone knows of that I can run against the data to remove the first six digits leaving me with just the final 8 for each barcode?
Thanks,
Nora
