Zoe,
So, are you trying to run this through the harvester or via a downloaded record? If from the harvester, try downloading just the XML records and then harvesting through the MARC Tools option setting the transformation to use saxon specifically. The reason I ask is that I could envision two scenerios that could be causing this:
1) MarcEdit isn't using the 2.0 engine on harvest (which is should -- and I'll check that this evening)
2) Saxon.net (version 6.5) isn't processing the function. I realize this is a very old version of saxon, so I can look to see how difficult it would be to update the version as well.
However, my guess is that this is likely related to #1 above and I will take a look at that this evening. I'd been planning a minor update this weekend to fix a problem with the delimited text translator under 64bit systems so if I need to, I'll address this.
