Hi all,
I'm sure there must be a way to do this but my brain is too fried at
this point to figure it out...
I'm trying to build my 949 fields, which should ultimately look
something like this:
=949 \\$aOnline$t1$oOnline
Resource$uhttp://library.books24x7.com/library.asp?site=E8ZHR&token=C4F9C975A1090B6F067C02A8&bookid=2015$3Volume
1$hHG4529.5 .E468 1999b
there will be some 949s that have $3 subfields and some that do not.
The records that have a $3 with volume information will have multiple
856s and 949s for each volume/URL.
So the steps I've used to try to create my 949 fields are as follows:
Swap Field:
Original Data: Field 856 Indicators: 40 Subfields: u3
Modified Data: Field: 949 Subfields: u3
Check Boxes: Copy source
*this correctly creates a 949 field for each of the 856s, and copies
subfields $u and $3 to each of the 949s
Find: =949 $u
Replace: =949 \\$aOnline$t1$oOnline Resource$u
*this correctly inserts subfields $a, $t, and $o before the subfield
$u (and these values are the same for all 949s)
Swap Field:
Original Data: Field 050 Subfields: ab
Modified Data: Field: 949 Subfields: h
Check Boxes: Copy source and Add to existing field
*this is where I have the problem... It will only copy the 050 data
to the 1st 949 field, but if there are multiple 949 fields within the
same bib record, they won't get the subfield $h added with the call
number information.
So... anyone have an idea how to swap the call number information from
the 050 (or from the 1st 949 field) to the additional 949 fields when
there are multiple 949s in the same record?
any hints very much appreciated!!
