Those three folders are as follows:
* the first two are the application -- I'm assuming you installed the program for an individual user. In that case, data is stored in the app data folder and in their own locations. MarcEdit cleans up data it doesn't need on updates, but won't remove program folders if there is data that has changed there.
marcedit75 -- that's the app config folder. 7.5+ uses that location.

Subject: Re: [MARCEDIT-L] trouble sharing mebatch_db.xml file with coworker
Ok, this is weird. I just changed my selected databases, closed down MARCEdit, then looked at the mebatch_db.xml files (I have 12) to see which one was just changed. I had sent him the file from my
AppData\Local\Temp\meconfig_export_temp\configs folder but the file that was just modified is in my AppData\Roaming\marcedit75\configs folder.
Under AppData\Roaming, I have 3 MARCEdit folders:
MarcEdit 7.5 (User)
MarcEdit 7.6 (User)
marcedit75
I was wondering why it's using marcedit75 if I'm on 7.6, but the other two folders don't contain a configs folder. Does my MARCEdit installation need to be cleaned up? Or is it ok as-is?
I sent him the file from the marcedit75/configs folder, and he put that in the same folder, and it worked.
thanks,
Yvonne
