Thanks for the suggestion! We're on Windows 7, but IE might be to blame. I'll try Chrome and see what happens.

Gratefully,

Nancy

This is an off-the-wall response, but have you upgraded your browser or operating system lately? We just recently went from Microsoft XP to Microsoft 7, and from IE to Chrome... and it took me a few tries to realize where downloads were going, and how to access them.

Hello everyone,

I'm swallowing my pride here to report that after I use MarcBreaker on a file of World Bank records, I save the file with the .mrk extension to my desktop, but then can't find it anywhere. It's a modicum of comfort that a colleague reports the same problem. We both have used MarcEdit on World Bank records before and had no difficulties. Also, we're both on ME version 5.9.4979.808, but it's hard to imagine that would be the source of the problem.

Any and all suggestions welcomed!
