Yes -- you'd set this in the ReadMARC function or ReadMnemonic (depending on
the one you are using). See:

I made a script with Script Wizard. Then I greatly modified the script,
because I wanted a rather complex algorithm that could not be implemented
with the Script Wizard. Now I want to add another feature to my script, but
I'm not sure if it is possible.
I want the script to translate the record into MARC-8 if it is in UTF-8.
The Script Wizard doesn't have any way to do that, but I assume that the
MARCEngine has some function to do it. Is there any way to do implement
this in my vbscript? On a more general note, is there any documentation on
the functions available in the MARCEngine?
