No -- 4000 records is a small set. Likely, something is wrong with the file format. If you want to put it somewhere, I can take a quick look

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Compile .mrk into MARC trouble

Hello,

I am trying to convert an entire catalog of 4000+ items from .mrk to MARC. However, I end up with only 54 records. Am I taxing the code trying to process so many items?

Background: We are converting from one library management system (Insignia) to another (Destiny) but have one mountain school with 26 students and a library of 6000+ copies. I don't want to buy a site license for this library and want to use either Libib or LibraryWorld. LibraryWorld allows import of MARC, but I can't seem to get there from the available exports in Insignia. Thus, trying to convert using MarcEdit.

Thanks for any insight you might have!
Rae
