My sympathies Terry. I smashed my elbow over a year ago and found the
rehab & getting back the arm's range-of-motion is much more challenging
than the surgery. So far though my mended elbow doesn't set off metal
detectors so depending on the composition of your "hardware" you may not
have that problem.

Ouch!! Good luck with your surgery, Terry, and with getting through
those pesky metal detectors at the airport!

Hi folks,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to likely be abscent
for a few weeks. I had a car cut me off on my bike forcing me to bail
off. I'm fine, buri shattered my elbow in the process. I'm awaiting
reconstructive surgery next week so if you ask a question and I don't
get right back to you, that's why. For those of you that I was planning
on meeting at ala, my surgeon tells me that at this point, travel should
be fine so I will still see you there, just maybe moving a little slower
than before. :). On the bright side, after my reconstructive surgery, I
will be like the bionic man, with some pretty cool hardware holding my
elbow together. :)

Tr
