I do the same thing.

OCLC also offers an option where you can just get urls that come from the 
Springer domain. The way they phrase it is the "first url that comes from 
the vendor domain" or something like that. But in fact, if there are 2 
urls for v. 1 and v.2 for example, OCLC will give more than just the 
"first" url with the vendor domain.

The only problem is you lose some other urls like table of contents or 
publisher description that are open access but don't come from the vendor. 
I've decided that the labor involved in cleaning up the non-vendor urls by 
hand is too much, so I am willing to sacrifice some of the open access 
urls. This option is available only for sets supplied by OCLC though.
