I tried (via Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall/Change) but something
seems to be very wrong with the UI drawing. The first window has what
looks like a button, but the button is blank. Not knowing what it would
do, I didn't click it and instead just tried to close the window, upon
which I was asked whether I wished to cancel MarcEdit 7.5...
("installation" I suppose would be the next word, but it runs off the
frame of the window). Clicking No, I then get a "Modify, Repair, or
Remove installation" window, but the UI elements are mangled and I can't
effectively interact with them. See attached screenshots.
I updated to 7.5.95 today and while I did not see the same "Problem with
shortcut" error during the install, the behavior of getting an installer
progress meter when MarcEdit is launched via opening a .mrc/.mrk persists.
Am I reduced to completely uninstalling and reinstalling, here?
