So, what OCLC does with CONTENTdm really isn't something that I could guess. Could this work lead to enhancements that they could use within the CONTENTdm project -- maybe, maybe not. At one time, I had a plugin that worked with CONTENTdm for use with MarcEdit that would allow you to edit CDM collections globally. We used it for certain types of authority control -- I'm just not sure if it still would work with CDM5. I suppose if it did, I could resurrect it for general use -- but other than that -- I'm not sure what OCLC has planned for CDM.

Will this work with non-MARC data? I see mention on OCLC's web site of MARC XML, HTML, and some others I don't recognize.
Specifically I am wondering about Dublin Core and our Contentdm collections. We have no automated means for authority control right now.
Is this something the proposed enhancements to MARCEdit could help with?
