Yes - in fact, the Generate Call Numbers option provides options to allow you to perform cutter generation and custom creation (i.e., different actions for serials and integrated resources) all as one step. Just walk through the screens to check out the options. I'd start with a small set to see if the output is close to what you are looking for (since this does call WorldCat and can be somewhat time consuming over very large data sets).

So, is my understanding correct that if we use the Generate Call Numbers option (then the General Cutter option) we can construct the call number as it would appear in the 050$a$b of the corresponding OCLC record?
