Hi -
I've just been running some test files of records through the Verify
URLs tool in readiness for a larger project, and I have a couple of
queries about it which I hoped someone with more experience of using
this tool might be able to answer:
When you get the report back, how do you match up each status with
the original MARC record? I've tried using '001' (which contains our
system number) as the title field, but the report then only displays the
last 2 digits of this number, so that doesn't work. I've found a way to
match them up in excel but it's a bit fiddly.
And does the 'Fields: all' option mean that the report is looking at all
the fields within the MARC records for URLs? I'm only looking to test
856s so if I input 856 here would it make the report run quicker?
Thanks for any help - I expect I'm missing something really obvious!
