So, the task management tool allows you to create libraries of tasks that
you can reference, it will allow you clone tasks, etc. -- but no -- there
isn't a way to copy and paste because you'll likely lose some of the
delimiter information that MarcEdit uses to reparse the data. I'd need to
think about whether it would make sense to allow straight copy and paste --
part of the reason for having these operations occur within the management
tool is I can ensure that the data format of the files is correct limiting
the amount of validation that I have to do on the data (because, if MarcEdit
has written it -- it should be correct.)

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Automatic tasks playing around it and editing its text
file

Hi! I've been toying around the automatic task. I've already have so many
find and replace task and I want to organize it like I consolidate task
which find and replace in 650, etc. and also to delete duplicate tasks. Will
it be possible if I can directly copy paste it to the generated text file?
But it seemed those copy- pasted does not work, only those done in the
interface of MARCEdit works. Or maybe this could be added in future updates,
Terry? Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend!
