When saving a .mrk document while working in the editor, the cursor jumps to the top of the file. Similarly, when I attempt to enter a diacritic using the helper pop-up menu, double-clicking on the desired diacritic/character sends me to the top of the record after inserting the character. Selecting the character using the keyboard and hitting enter appears to only move the view so that the line with the just-entered character is at the bottom of the viewable screen, and using the enter key adds an extra blank line. Hitting tab to select the character adds the character followed by a tab and also adjusts the display so the entered line is at the bottom of the screen.

Would it be possible for the program not to move the view to the first record when double saving, and what is the appropriate way to use the helper to enter diacritics without getting an extra line/tab after, or without having the cursor jump to the first record (ideally, also without having the display move).

Thank you for your assistance,
