So I haven't put the error codes anywhere. I should do that. Maybe the help file and online. However, -99 is an undefined error that generally occurs because of a couple of reasons. Since you are trying to convert your data from MARCXML to MARC, I'd check the following:
1) that the xml file is valid
2) that the marcxml2mnemonic.xsl file is present in the location specified. Check by looking at the Preferences/Marcengine tab. There is the xslt file there -- follow the location and make sure it is present.
