Was there a solution to this? I am experiencing the same.
My Alma integration with MarcEdit 7 was previously working, but after system upgrades it no longer is. Setup in ME is the same and my API key is still working.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Alma integration and admin rights?

We are trying to set up Alma integration with MarcEdit 7 on Windows 10 and have run into some problems. The same setup works on a staff's personal laptop, but didn't work on his office desktop computer, which is managed by our office (the Library Systems Department). We are trying to figure out what permissions MARC Edit needs. Other functions seem to work without adding the staff as a local administrator, but when trying a batch search with the Alma Integration and get holdings records, ME would create an error. We tried to give staff user write permissions to the ME program folders, but didn't help. Does ME requires local admin rights to run? Or can we give user write permissions on certain folders?

Thanks
