Thanks -- my guess is that when implemented, the checkbox didn't get added
to the master task list mapping table. If that's the case, it will be an
easy fix.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Delete Subfield in Tasks
Hi Terry,
A colleague showed me that when working in Tasks, in the "Edit Subfield"
tool, if we
* Check the "Delete subfield" box
* Check "Match case"
* Click "Remove Text"
[cid:image003.jpg@01D03BC3.0FB36160]
the task is saved
[cid:image004.png@01D03BC1.E8ABBB40]
But if we open that same task, the "Delete subfield" box will no longer be
checked, but "Match case" will.
[cid:image007.jpg@01D03BC3.0FB36160]
And if you aren't paying attention and click "Remove Text", the "Delete
Subfield" is removed from your task. If you just click "Close", no changes
are made.

We've tested other check boxes and it only appears to be "Delete Subfield"
that isn't retained upon opening.
Hope this is an easy fix!
Thanks,
Tim
