Thanks for the feedback.  Yes -- in the current implementation of the
Tab Delimited Export Tool -- duplicated fields are placed in a single
column, delineated with, I believe, character 0x30 -- not idea -- but
again, when I was first putting this together, it was easy.  I'd be
willing to make this function work better, again if folks had
suggestions.

In terms of your other question:

I likely could.  I'd sent you a sample script -- my guess is that if I
had the two files, I could use that script (maybe with a few small
tweaks) to make it work.
