So, when you compile records to MARC -- MarcEdit will remove all stops (0x10 & 0x13) because these are invalid MARC characters. If you need to use the mnemonic file format -- then it's a bit more difficult. MarcEdit's editor only uses 0x13 -- but when it saves the data -- it defaults to your operating systems default new line character (which on windows is always the combination of a new line and carriage return.
