I'd need to take another look at the crosswalk, but very likely, the crosswalk just pulls the first instance of a paragraph because there was an assumption that there wouldn't be multiple paragraphed elements or to protect the field from going over the field length limit. If you sent me a simple (zipped) I could update the stylesheet.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] ProQuest Dissertations crosswalk
Hello all,
I am having a problem with the crosswalk from ProQuest XML to MARC.
A couple of records in the original file have more than one paragraph in the abstract (DISS_para in XML translates to 520 in MARC). Only the first paragraph comes through when I do the crosswalk. I haven't encountered this problem with any other repeating field, like 538 or 650. Has anyone else noticed this?
Thanks,
Kristen
