Hi, all
I used MarcJoin to create a file of 59 records. I named it something like "joined marc file."
I did my batch edits on the file and now want to use MarcSplit to revert back to the 59 separate files. This is what the client wants. Last time I did this the program named the separate files "marcsplit 1, marcsplit 2, marcsplit 3, and so on. I had to then rename each and every file. A laborious process. Unfortunately, the client wants the original names on the files.
So, I don't imagine this can be done as part of the MarcSplit process. Or can it?
Thanks for any and all help!
Matt
