It's nice to hear that folks are interested in this work. It's something that I do want see come to fruition. Since Jan. of last year, I've dedicated a good deal of time to writing concepts that fit into chapters. In fact, at this point, there is likely too much content and minutia and it needs to be scaled down so that what you get is something with more meat than fluff.

What has slowed me down over the past six months has been two things:
1) MarcEdit keeps changing and I have to keep going back and making significant revisions to concepts
2) While I love all you guys and will see this finished (even if I just put it together as is), I'll have a hard sell making a case that this work represents work that I'll be able to note on my dossier, and sadly, I am trying to put some finishing touches on it so I can make a case for full professor next year at OSU. This means that other writing (grants and articles) get moved up the priority ladder. As you might guess, self-published works tend to have zero impact with P&T committees.

But I will try to make an effort to get this finished. Where I stand now, I could probably easily produce something of substantial size (~100-120 pgs) that covers a wide range of topics with the application. What I need most is writing time at this point -- so I'll where I can carve that out of my schedule.

What I may try and do is get a few of the sections that I people would be more interested in into better shape sooner rather than later and just submit them to the list -- that might be the way to go. I'll have to see.
