That is the process I ended up using last week with about 8,500 Springer
ebook records -- Find All, then global delete.
It was kind of tedious, but gave a lot of control over what links were
being retained and deleted.

Although perhaps not the most savvy technological solution for finding
non-Springer URLs, in MarcEdit I do a Find All search for the phrase
=856. Then I eyeball the search results for non-Springer URLs. When I
find one I use a distinct phrase found in the non-Springer URL and do a
global Delete field routine using that phrase. For instance: Delete 856
field with ebrary.com in subfield u. Or you can just jump to the record
from the search results and manually delete the offending URL.

Springer also offers OCLC MARC record sets for these ebooks. I recently
downloaded those and discovered major problems. The OCLC sets include
links to other publisher's versions of these books.
Since our library doesn't pay for access through the other e-publishers,
it will be frustrating for patrons if I load these records without first
cleaning up the extra links, and there are hundreds and hundreds of
them.
