When you download the update, this isn't officially implemented yet -- but I'm testing the ability for you to modify the filing list. You'll need to implement it to test it (again, I haven't done much testing, so I haven't moved this file into the user config data path yet) -- but you'll find in the MarcEdit Program file directory/shadow/configs directory a file called: delimited_filing_chars.txt. If you make a copy of that file and move it into the user application configuration directory (you can find the shortcut from the main window/Help/Application shortcuts) -- then you can edit this file and MarcEdit will apply the data. The data is expected to be in UTF8.

Subject: [MARCEDIT-L] Calculating filing indicators for non-English articles
Hi All,
I know this has been touched on in the past but is there any chance we could one day get the MARCEDIT delimited text translator to calculate filing indicators for non-English languages? Even just support for the main Western languages would help a lot.
Thanks,
Bruce.
