Terry: I have Preview Mode off. By paging do you mean the preference immediately below that, i.e. 100 records per page? --Sally
the Not sure what you mean by paging. --Sally

I made some changes to the save in the previous update (not last night, the one before) -- but I've never been able to reproduce this. The changes I made were made specifically to remove some of the exceptions I've added in the Save to make things process faster.
One thing I should note -- if you have this happen -- it may very well be a problem with having both the preview mode on and have the paging. The preview mode is no longer enabled by default -- and I've considered turning it off for current installations -- but I could theorize that if you are using both modes when working with files, that could be problematic.

I recently posted about the same thing, which happens to me all the time. What did you determine, Terry?

So, for these kinds of problems, if you think they are related to marcedit -- I need to see the file and exact steps to recreate it. In my normal and testing use, this isn't something that I have seen or recreate. So, in order to do anything -- I need to get a test file and the exact steps so I can recreate it because until I can, there isn't anything I can do.

Hello,
While editing a file of 1291 records, I did a field count and discovered I only have 704 records.
This used to happen to me frequently in the past, but hasn't happened in a while. I am using the latest version of MARCEdit.
