Greetings,
I am editing a file of records that I had worked on in MarcEdit last week.
I am batch editing using the "Edit Subfield Data" tool. I am attempting to
add a subfield to one of the fields in all the records. I am trying to add
subfield 7 with 1 in the subfield data to the 952 fields in all of the
records in this file. I've done this a million times before but today I am
getting an error message when I hit the "Replace Text" button. The error
message says:
"If this error message occurred while processing a MARC data file, try
running the file through MarcValidator for more information about structural
record issues. Exception information:
Message: Index and length must refer to a location within the string.

Anyone know what this message is telling me?
Thanks,
Nora
