Hi, and Happy New Year,
in my MarcEdit 7.5 installation I found no Script Wizard in Tools > Utilities or anywhere else. Also I read in a mail by Terry Reese from 2020 that the Script Wizard was to be deprecated and no longer available in 7.5.
What can be used instead, if one would like to start working with scripts in MarcEdit?
Thanks in advance,
Anke

Thanks heaps Julien. I have also found MarcEdit Script Wizard under Tools > Utilities 😊
Cheers,

Hi Terry,
I’m Rebecca from the University Of Melbourne in Australia. I’m a newbie to MarcEdit
My apologies for reaching out to your support directly, but I gets stuck and don’t know anyone else I can ask for help
I installed MarcEdit version 7.5, the latest version. It went well but I then realised it didn’t have the Add-ins (pic below). What I had are Tools, Plug-ins and Help
What I expected to have is (pic below) Script Wizard which I can run and test vb script
My colleague advised me to install the older version. So I tried version 7.3. This version does not have Add-ins (Script Maker) either.
I have searched in the Download page but haven’t found any info about downloading/installing MarcEdit Script Wizard.
Would you please help me with this?
Many thanks,
Rebecca
