Terry:
Does this mean we would lose the current menu option "Preview MARC Record," because that only applies to .mrc files? If so, could the menu item label become "Preview/Open MARC Records," with the software performing whichever action applies to the right clicked file type?

So, I'm looking into this and I can nest menu items, but here's the rub. In the Windows context menu -- file specific options cannot be nested. So, what I could do is something like -- create a non-file specific group of items:
MarcEdit ShortCuts
-- MarcBreaker (Default)
-- MarcBreaker (Translate 2 MARC8)
-- MarcBreaker (Translate 2 UTF8)
-- MARC => MARCXML
-- MarcMaker (Default)
-- MarcMaker (Translate 2 MARC8)
-- MarcMaker (Translate 2 UTF8)
-- MARCXML => MARC
I'm just not sure if having this option always embedded into the context menu is really desirable so let me know what you think.
