Dear MA and Ph.D. Students,
Professor Richard Norton Smith of the School of Public Policy is
teaching an undergraduate history course this Spring: HIST 389,
Forty-Two Men: The U.S. Presidency from Washington to Bush. He needs
a grader to grade two exams and a paper. He is willing to pay an
interested graduate student $15 per hour (up to $2,000 for the
semester) , which would include all grading time as well as time
spent meeting with Prof. Smith and attending his class. The class
meets once per week on Thursday evenings (7:20-10:00 p.m.), though
Prof. Smith indicated that you would not need to attend all classes.
There will be three weeks when the class meets off campus at Mount
Vernon, the Woodrow Wilson House, and the White House. There will
also be opportunities for you to teach and/or lecture a little if you
are so inclined. Please contact Professor Smith directly if you are
interested <[log in to unmask]> or have any further questions.
