With the Summer 2015 semester coming to a close, we at UDTS want to make sure upcoming deadlines, etc. are clear.

The Format Review deadline for Summer 2015 is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24. Any document we receive on or by that time will be reviewed as soon as possible, with the aim of making sure you complete all steps in time to graduate in Summer 2015.

Any document received for a Format Review on or after 5:01 p.m. on Friday, July 24 will not be reviewed until Tuesday, August 4 at the very earliest.

The Final Submission deadline for Summer 2015 is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31. That is the last date by which you can turn in the final copy of your thesis or dissertation in order to graduate in Summer 2015. When we refer to the "final copy," we are referring to the version of your document that has fulfilled the following criteria:

  *   UDTS has reviewed and approved the formatting;
  *   You have successfully defended the document (if a Defense is part of your requirements);
  * And your committee has approved the content.

Once you have fulfilled those criteria, you will be ready to turn in the final copy of your dissertation.

Your Final Submission materials should be turned in to UDTS by 5:00 on 7/31. To set up an appointment with us, please visit this site:

http://gmu.libcal.com/appointment/6908

There, you'll be able to view our schedule and set up a time to meet.

Please note: UDTS Coordinator Sally Evans will be on the Prince William Campus, at the Circulation Desk in Mercer Library, for her regular monthly office hours there, from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27th. If you would like to turn in the final copy of your thesis or dissertation to her at the PWC, please set up an appointment with her on 7/27. She will be on the Fairfax Campus (in C203 Fenwick Library) the rest of the time for her regular hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any further information. We look forward to working with you.

Thank you,

Sally
