Subject: Call for Papers, The Southeast Regional Graduate Student Conference at Florida State

Dear Colleagues,

The Graduate Student Association of Florida State University invites graduate students in the humanities and social sciences to join us for the eleventh annual Southeast Regional Graduate Student Conference to be held Friday April 3, 2020 on FSU’s campus in Tallahassee Florida.

Our theme this year is “Otherness and Unheard Narratives.” We are interested in papers that explore notions of alienation, silencing, and discrimination. Our hope is to explore narratives from under-researched areas or familiar narratives told from unusual or unexpected angles. While we are particularly interested in these themes, the committee also welcomes papers from any thematic, chronological and geographic perspective.

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in circulating the attached Call for Papers to the graduate students in your department.

The deadline for submission is January 8, 2020.

Cordially,
The Southeast Regional Graduate Student Conference Committee
